The chalet is a 2 bedroom plus mezzanine, 2 bathroom Ohakune holiday home with Wi-Fi and a spa pool. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just a five-minute stroll from the town centre, this cosy mountain base enjoys stunning views of Mount Ruapehu and the Turoa ski field!

This 2 storey Ohakune holiday home is a warm, newly renovated house with ample room for the family. Relax in the comfort of the large open-plan lounge kit out with a 55" TV, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. You can prepare meals in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoy dining as a group, all while the wood-burning fire keeps you toasty warm.

Located downstairs at this Ohakune accommodation, bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a Queen bed, while the upstairs mezzanine level includes 6 single beds. There is also a fold-down sofa bed in the lounge. To keep the kid's busy, the mezzanine level provides a second lounge, fully equipped with a DVD player, Wii, and lots of games and toys. This well-presented Ruapehu base is ideally suited for two families or an extended friend and family group.

Summary: Great location and great set up for teens. The actual accommodation is just like the listing. The upstairs area was great for our teenage daughters and their friends and the spa was well used! The weather in Ohakune was not great meaning we could not ski. However girls had no problems occupying themselves. Would just recommend some more breakfast bowls - there were no enough of these and a new rubbish bin. The lid was broken which was not ideal. Other than this there were no issues. It was lovely and warm. We would definitely come back again.
